A Place Called Home
Due to a sudden turn of events, in December of 2008, we were presented with the opportunity to purchase our current property much sooner than we had anticipated. As a result of the generous sacrifices of many, some creative financing and miraculous favor, it was a Christmas to remember. And now, we are Finally Home!
As a part of our financial commitment in the terms of the purchase, we are required to pay a final down payment amount on or before February 1, 2010. Many have given and even made pledges toward this need during our Finally Home campaign. Because of your faithfulness, we were able to pay all of the closing costs and complete new signs for our new church home. We have been blessed with amazing facilities in a wonderfully strategic location, but there is still much to do.
“Friend, move up to a better place.” Luke 14:10 NIV
A Place Where Everyone Matters
Each month new families are making Life Church their new home as they discover that God has a better place for them. Hebrews 11:16 tells us that people are “…looking for a better place… a heavenly place.” Jesus instructed us to pray for His kingdom to come on earth as it is in heaven. We believe that we have a responsibility to create a better place right here on earth that reflects His kingdom values. In everything that we do, our desire is to communicate to the world around us, that this is a place “where your life matters.” People matter to God, and they must matter to us.

A Place Where Children are Valued
Because children are a priority, we are committed to creating learning environments where children can have fun, while they learn about Jesus. Creating a better place for our kids will involve the installation of a new 25’ x 40’ fenced, outdoor playground with canopies and picnic tables, as well as several age appropriate indoor play areas.
A Place of Relevance for Students
We believe that tomorrow’s leaders are today’s teenagers. If we truly want to create lasting change in our world, we must be intentional about reaching this generation. Our commitment to this cause will involve the renovation and creation of a new student area called The Engine Room. This 1700 sq. ft. space will be totally equipped and decorated with students in mind. Phase II of this plan will include an outdoor recreation area and covered patio.
“Reach the campus… Change the world.”
A Place for Generations
As one generation takes on the responsibility of lifting the next generation on our shoulders, we must ensure that we are providing them with a better place. In 1 Chronicles 4:40, it tells us that “they found rich, good pasture because their descendants had left it a better place for those who came after them.”As we invest our lives and our resources, we must think generationally about what the Lord is doing and be careful not to miss the amazing opportunities that He has presented us with, or neglect the responsibility that we have as a church.
“One generation shall declare your works to another”. Psalm 145:4
Let’s make the journey, together!
How will we get there?
It will take $240,000 over 24 months.
What does it looks like?

Dear Church Family,
We continually marvel at how the Lord works to fulfill His vision simply through our willingness to participate with Him. Since our church began ten years ago, we’ve seen many lives changed and great things accomplished through those whose hearts were selflessly committed to serving the purposes of God for their generation. (Acts 13:36)
Over the years we’ve been able to take two properties that were in desperate need of repair, transform them into better places and eventually purchase those properties. (Isaiah 58:12) We’ve been blessed with tremendous favor in our region, and the vision of Helping People Connect with God, Connect with Others and Grow in Christ continues to be fulfilled.
Now it’s time to take the next step together in creating a better place for the future of our church. Reaching our goal will take sacrifices from every one of us. It has been said, “God does not expect equal gifts, but equal sacrifice.” This is the kind of sacrificial love that comes straight from the heart of Jesus and will make it possible for us to create a better place for generations to come.
It is our prayer that you will decide to move forward in being a part of our journey together. As you read through this brochure, we hope you will embrace the vision that God has given all of us to advance His kingdom and make a difference in our region and in the world.
Will you join us on this incredible journey?
With much love and appreciation,

Pastor Greg & Judy Richards

How are we going to do this?
This is a God-sized task beyond the ability of any one person, but together, with God’s help, we can attain the vision. The campaign need is $240,000 over the next 24 months. It will take each of us sacrificially partnering together to fulfill this project need.
Your 24-month commitment to A Better Place should be an amount that God leads you to give over and above your regular tithe. In order to continue to minister to our growing church, it is important that we maintain our regular giving in regards to the tithe.
What are you asking me to do?
• Pray – We are asking everyone to pray for the successful completion of the project needs during the entire 24-month period of our journey to… A Better Place.
• Participate – We are asking everyone to prayerfully partner in our journey to… A Better Place through sacrificial giving. Scripture tells us that in the building of the Temple, it was not equal gifts, but rather equal sacrifice that produced success. We are asking everyone to make a 24-month financial commitment toward this project
When would I begin to give?
• You can make a 24-month pledge, over and above your tithe today. Your pledge card can be placed in the offering.
• On the first Sunday of every month, each person will have the opportunity to bring a special offering for A Better Place as we share in what God is doing throughout the campaign.
